These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the website located at wecorlando.com (the “Site”) and participation in any events, programs, or services offered by the Women's Executive Council of Orlando (“WEC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing the Site, purchasing event tickets, making donations, applying for membership, or participating in WEC activities, you agree to these Terms.
1. Organizational Structure
The Women's Executive Council of Orlando is a nonprofit membership organization committed to supporting and advancing women leaders in Central Florida.
Proceeds and direct donations support the Women's Executive Scholarship & Endowment Fund, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides college scholarships to women in Central Florida.
A copy of the official registration and financial information for the scholarship fund may be obtained from the Division of Consumer Services by calling toll-free 1-800-HELP-FLA (435-7352) within the State of Florida or visiting FloridaConsumerHelp.com. Registration does not imply endorsement, approval, or recommendation by the state.
2. Event & Luncheon Ticket Sales
All ticket sales for luncheons, networking events, award ceremonies, meetings, and similar programs are final.
No refunds will be issued for any event tickets.
No credits, substitutions, or transfers are guaranteed unless explicitly stated on the event page.
If WEC must cancel or significantly modify an event, WEC will communicate options to registered attendees.
Please review all event details carefully before completing your purchase.
3. Donations & Refunds
3.1 General Donations
General donations made through the Site are 100% refundable within 48 hours of the donation time.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the WEC email address listed on the Site and must include the donor’s name, date of donation, and transaction details.
After 48 hours, all donations are final and nonrefundable.
3.2 Directed Donations
Donations designated to the Women's Executive Scholarship & Endowment Fund, Inc. are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Donors should consult their tax advisor for specific tax guidance.
4. Membership
WEC membership is open to eligible individuals as described on the Site.
Membership dues are nonrefundable unless otherwise stated.
Members are responsible for maintaining accurate profile information (including directory and contact details).
Access to members-only content or directories may require logging into the Site.
WEC reserves the right to revoke or suspend membership for conduct inconsistent with organizational policies or values.
5. Scholarship Applications
Scholarship eligibility, application requirements, deadlines, and selection criteria are published on the Site and may be updated annually.
WEC and the scholarship fund reserve the right to verify information submitted by applicants and to decline any application that is incomplete or inaccurate.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site—including logos, graphics, photos, event materials, award archives, scholarship information, and written content—is the property of WEC or its content partners.
No content may be reproduced, distributed, or republished without written permission.
7. Website Use & Conduct
By using the Site, you agree not to:
Engage in unlawful, harmful, or disruptive activity
Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise site security
Misuse membership directories or contact information for unsolicited marketing
WEC reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to the Site for violations of these rules.
8. Privacy
WEC respects your privacy. Personal information submitted through event registrations, membership applications, scholarship forms, or donations is used solely for organizational purposes and is not sold to third parties.
Certain data may be shared with payment processors, event systems, or member management tools as needed.

9. Payment Processing
Payments for events, membership, and donations are processed through secure third-party platforms.
WEC does not store full credit card numbers and is not responsible for errors or security breaches by these third-party providers.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WEC is not liable for:
Technical errors or interruptions on the Site
Changes or cancellations of events
Third-party actions or service outages
Losses arising from reliance on Site content
Participation in WEC events is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk.
11. Changes to These Terms
WEC may update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the Site with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of the Site or participation in WEC activities after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
